Summary: It's a very beautiful location on the lake. The pros: The location of the home is great and is close (drive) to stores and Vernon. It was a good size for 6-8 people to stay overnight. The kitchen was a nice size and layout for preparing food for 10 people. Lots of seating for everyone, too. And the BBQ worked well. The cons: There are a couple of things that would've made it a nicer stay, related to cleanliness and maintenance of the home. The bed in the upstairs bedroom had a broken platform for the mattress, so the mattress sinks — not great, since you roll into the hole of the mattress all night. As for cleanliness, it's subpar -- the light fixtures were full of cobwebs and dust, and the cushions on the patio furniture had dog hair and dirt on them. Outside, the fire pit was unusable - its legs were broken and it was covered in cobwebs.
