Welcome to Eagle Ridge. This lovely home is over 2,200 sq ft and is located in the quiet and gated community of the Smoky Mountain Golf and Country Club. What makes this home unique is the beautiful landscaping and gardens along with your private hot tub. You can grill and relax on the deck taking in the view of the gardens and breathing fresh cool mountain air.
Inside there are three bedrooms, each with a king sized bed. The master bedroom offers an ensuite with double sinks and his and hers walk in closets. The other two bedrooms share a jack and jill bathroom. There is also an additional four piece bathroom. Everything is on one floor. The kitchen is fully stocked with utensils, dishes, pots, pans, and cookware. There is plenty of room to spread out in one of two living rooms. Read a book, play games or relax in front of the gas fireplace.
The golf course is par 71 and has an elevation change of almost 400 feet where there are a number of shots from high elevation to lower areas. You can golf all year round.
The community offers a seasonal heated pool and whirlpool spa, two lighted tennis courts, fitness room, and a grille with a full bar.
Location is everything. Approximately 9 miles away (or a 15 minute drive) is Cherokee where there is Harrah’s Cherokee Casino, museums, restaurants, and the world-famous “Unto These Hills” theatrical presentation in the renovated mountainside theatre. Also 15 minutes away is the Smoky Mountain Train ride in Bryson City where you can catch the Polar Express, Uncorked or simply ride the rails. The Nantahala outdoor center is 25 minutes away and has white water rafting, mountain top zipline and an adventure park. 10 miles away is the entrance to the Smoky Mountains National Park at the West Deep Creek entrance where you can tube, hike and see three waterfalls, go fishing, or relax at the large picnicking area.
On the way to Clingmans Dome there are various lookout points where you can stop and take in the view. At over 6,600 feet Clingmans Dome is the highest point in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. The Appalachian Trail crosses Clingmans Dome, marking the highest point along its journey from Georgia to Maine.
Asheville’s Biltmore Estate is only 45 minutes away. Be sure to check out the local shopping in Bryson City, Cherokee, Waynesville, and Sylva.
