Recipe books, a crock pot, ice cream maker, grill, and Bluetooth radio encourage lingering meals and unhurried conversations. The master suite is equipped with a queen bed, en-suite bathroom and a balcony overlooking the marsh over to Sea Island. The second bedroom has a bunk over a full bed with a pullout trundle. We've stocked the home with art supplies for creating your own keepsake, more than 50 books to choose for rainy afternoons, and a selection of puzzles and games, including our family favorites, St. Simonopoly and CLUE. Upstairs, the loft offers a cozy hideaway for movie nights with a Smart TV and DVD collection. Bring your own passwords for the ability to stream.
Get out and explore! Sea Palms is known for its laid-back coastal charm, where golf carts roll beneath moss-draped oaks and life moves at a gentler pace. The Sago restaurant, Sea Palms golf club and putting greens are just a 5-8 minute walk from the home. On the rest of SSI spend your days beachcombing, fishing, kayaking, biking, or exploring local shops and restaurants. Nature lovers will also find plenty to enjoy, from hiking at Cannon Point Preserve, booking an evening sunset cruise to view dolphins or heading over to Jekyll Island's sea turtle rescue facility. The island blends outdoor adventure with relaxed coastal living, making it easy to fill your days or do absolutely nothing at all. Either way, you'll leave feeling refreshed.
