Our Dogwood apartment boasts a great open concept floor plan that gives easy access to the 2 bedrooms, living room and bathroom. It has high-speed wireless internet and the living room has a large smart TV with a farmhouse dining table that seats 6 people along with 2 comfortable chairs that make as a good morning coffee spot. Both of the bedrooms have queen memory foam mattresses with a large closets for storage. One of the bedrooms has a smart TV and the other does not have a TV. Across the hall is the main full bath with a bathtub/shower combo.
Shared Fire-Pit:
You are welcome to use the shared fire pit in the middle of the circle driveway. It is a shared space between the other vacation rentals on the property. You will need to bring your own camping chairs, lighter, and wood.
Max parking for 2 cars! There is a gravel parking area that can fit 2 cars right in front of the basement front double doors. Please do not block the circle driveway! You may see other cars parked at the property that belong to other guests thats are staying at the property.
Quiet hours: Property quiet hours are from 10 pm-8 am! We strongly enforce these quiet hours. Please be respectful of all guests as they are instructed to do the same!
Guest Access:
Guests will have access to the entire basement apartment.
Getting Around:
Uber and Lyft are not always reliable in Chattanooga, so we recommend having a vehicle to fully enjoy everything the city has to offer.
Other Things to Note:
1. As advertised, there are 2 other Airbnb's on this property and this is a basement unit that has its own separate access. You will hear footsteps during your stay if people are staying in the unit above you during that time. There is an upstairs apartment above this one and the main home that is connected to the upstairs apartment. There is no access from the inside as each unit has their own front door!
2. This property sits up on top of a hill. There is a fairly steep asphalt driveway that leads you to the top! Any normal passenger vehicle should be able to make it to the home with no problems but 4x4 or all-wheel drive is recommended during icy conditions in the winter time.
3. 2 Dogs Max! Dog Rules:
We ask for you NOT to leave your dog unattended and roaming in the home without you unless you leave it in a crate. All dogs must be on a leash while outside. We do not allow dogs on any of the furniture and we ask that you clean up after your dogs waste outside. If there is any damage to the home caused by your dog, we ask that you notify us right away.
Weather and Outages!
Please note: There will be no refunds in the unlikely circumstance that there is a power outage during your stay or if the weather is not cooperating. We do not have any control over the weather or outages caused by nature! We highly suggest you purchase travel insurance to be preventative in case something happens and you need to cancel.
Lady Bugs:
Most, if not all, homes in our area have lady bugs. To stay ahead of this we are on preventative monthly pest control maintenance for all of our properties. Unfortunately they are still VERY hard to get rid of! Thankfully, they are harmless! But please know you will most likely see ladybugs in the home during your stay.
