The house is in the bucolic hamlet of Bovina Center. Home to around 500 residents, Bovina is a refreshing, step back in time kind of place. People wave when they drive past you. You may see kids doing wheelies down the street in the summer. And the fresh country air brings people outside year round to bike, run and walk dogs. A short walk down the street brings you to library, playground and general store.

There are two ski centers nearby that offer tubing, skiing, snowboarding and cross country skiing (as well as summer activities like hiking, biking and concerts). Winter weather can be mercurial. Check the weather report for this area and plan your travel accordingly. Snow plows do not operate on secondary roads between 8PM and 5AM.
