Summary: Everything was great about the stay. Even though it was October the kids got to use the pool for two days. The hot tub was also enjoyed. Loved the fireplace. Everything was a distance but we knew that was the case. We enjoyed Fort Ticonderoga and going into VT to Rutland and Woodstock. We did the rail ride in Thurman and enjoyed timenin Lake George Village. We were there for Oktoberfest. We also enjoyed the outlets as the last stop before we left the area. It is definitely a place for relaxation and getting away from busy life. We had hoped to see some more wildlife but we were okay with the turkeys and frogs. We got to see some deer crossing the river on the rail ride. I would love to return.
