The Space:
This cozy 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom classic Lake Tahoe home is the perfect launching pad for any Lake Tahoe experience. The unbeatable location places you near all the best Tahoe has to offer with both beaches and mountains within close proximity to the home. Return from a busy day to this quiet and inviting home where you will find 3 private bedrooms, a relaxing common area, and a spacious and private outdoor deck with a hot tub to soak away in. There is plenty of space for your group to spread out and be comfortable at this charming home!
When you first arrive at the home you will be greeted by an entryway that features coat hooks, storage areas, and a bench to be able to comfortably remove and store your outdoor gear and personal items. Once you make your way into the home you will find the main common area with the living room/dining room/kitchen connected together. Cozy up with family and friends in the living room as you warm up by the wood fireplace which is situated in a lovely stone hearth. Make yourself comfortable on the large sectional sofa with footrests as you enjoy a movie on the 55” Smart TV, or have a game night with one of the several board games you will find in the home. Off the living room, you will find the open dining room which features a dining table with seating for 8 tucked next to a large window providing plenty of natural light in the space. Next to the dining room is the fully equipped kitchen, in which you’ll find plenty of counter space and easy-to-use appliances plus all of the kitchenware you’ll need for homecooked meals.
When you are ready to settle in for the night the home has 3 private bedrooms located down the hallway from the common area providing a quiet separation of space for a good night's rest. The master bedroom features a comfortable queen-size bed with a lovely bedframe, two nightstands with lamps, a large dresser, and a ceiling fan. For added comfort, the master bedroom boasts an en suite bathroom with a single-sink vanity and a shower/tub combo. The second bedroom is a great bedroom for families traveling with young children. The room features a queen-size bed as well as a twin-over-queen bunk bed making it a comfortable space for the family to stay together. The third bedroom also has a queen-size bed as well as a dresser, a small TV, and a desk making for a great quiet workspace if needed. The third bedroom is located across the hallway from the shared bathroom for convenient access. In the second bathroom, you will find a sink, toilet, and shower.
From the common area, you can head out to the spacious deck, the perfect space for entertaining during the summer months. The deck is surrounded by trees providing a private and quiet space to fully immerse yourself in the tranquil scenery. On the deck, you will find a 6-person hot tub, a picnic table with an umbrella perfect for dining, a bench, and a BBQ. Situated in a quiet and safe neighborhood tucked away from the main road, the spacious unfenced backyard is an ideal spot for children to play outside or just enjoy the outdoor space in peace! During the summer months take a short walk down the street where you will find an endless network of National Forest trails for walks, runs, and bike rides. Or make the quick 2-minute drive to Patton Beach which is dog-friendly and great for swimming. Nearby Patton Beach you will find more entertainment and dining options such as the famous Garwoods Bar and Grill, a wonderful lakefront dining experience, CB’s Bistro and Pizza for family dinners, Magic Carpet Mini Golf and Arcade for the little ones, and a 7-11 for all of your late-night needs. The beautiful Carnelian West Beach provides another excellent swimming spot just a five-minute drive from the home.
In the winter months, you are only 20 minutes from Northstar, 25 minutes to Squaw Valley Alpine Meadows, and 10 minutes from the Tahoe City Nordic Center where you will find a huge network of trails for XC Skiing or snowshoeing. A short walk from the home will take you to a small hill that is great for sledding! And all those wonderful trails on the National Forest system are perfect for enjoying some XC skiing and snowshoeing in the winter months.
If a little less physical activity is what you are looking for you are just a 10-minute drive west to Tahoe City and 5 minutes east from Kings Beach. In both places, you will find sandy beaches, farmers markets and major grocery stores, golf courses, small boutique shopping, waterfront parks, golf courses, weekly concerts in the summer, and a wide variety of bars and restaurants. You are also 10 minutes from the Nevada state line where you will find casinos and concert venues. This cabin is the perfect launching pad for any Lake Tahoe experience!
Getting Around:
Centrally located off HWY 28 and within walking distance of a public transportation stop you can comfortably get by without having a vehicle if needed. A ten-minute walk will take you to the public transportation TART stop at Hwy 28 at Agate Rd. From here you are just a 20-minute bus ride to Kings Beach or Tahoe City. Easily connect to other locations at the Tahoe City Transit Center where you can find buses to locations such as Northstar California Resort. The home is also nearby a Night Rider bus stop, please note that the night rider bus is only offered seasonally.
Those with a vehicle enjoy being close to HWY 28 and the quick access it provides to the beautiful surrounding areas with less than a 10-minute drive to Tahoe City or the Nevada state line. Just a two-minute drive will take you to Patton Beach, and the popular Kings Beach is only a 5-minute drive away. In the wintertime, you are centrally located for skiing all of the best resorts with a 20-minute drive or less from three of the area's best ski resorts, Northstar, Squaw Valley ski resort, and Tahoe Nordic Cross Country Center.

If you are renting this home from November through March, please remember that there may be winter driving conditions, and a 4-wheel drive with all-terrain tires or snow chains for your 2-wheel drive tires might be necessary for safe travel. Even if it hasn’t snowed in a few days, side roads can still be icy and have snow on them. Please also be aware of long travel times and pass closures due to winter weather conditions.
If you are renting this home from April until the first snowfall there are NO fires allowed in Lake Tahoe.
Please note that grills and outdoor furniture are not available during the months of November to April due to snow.
