Beautiful mountain getaway! This cozy cabin is located on a quiet wooded street, just a short drive (1/2 mile) from Homewood Ski Resort's South Lodge.
In the summer, guests have access to Chamberland's private white sandy beach, with free shuttle service for transportation to/from the beach. The shuttle departs every half hour on the hour beginning at 11am with the last regular run at 4:30pm. The shuttle operates daily from July 2nd – August 22nd.
Guests with a boat, can pull up and park your boat at the dock to enjoy all that Chambers Landing on the lovely West Shore is known for. A long wooden pier stretches out into the blue water with a small bar serving the famous “Chambers Punch”. The restaurant itself features wonderful Tahoe mountain ambiance and outstanding food.
During your stay, you can relax by the wood stove in the Living Room on leather couches and enjoy a stunning view of the giant Cedar and the mountains beyond or watch a movie on our flat screen TV. The large kitchen is fully-equipped for all of the cooking you may want to do during your stay. The dining room also offers beautiful views of the forest and is located adjacent to the kitchen so you can chat with your guests while preparing dinner. There is also a full-bath with shower/tub located upstairs for easy access.
All of the bedrooms are located on the lower level along with a huge full bathroom. The Master bedroom offers an inviting queen-size bed and sitting area to watch TV and enjoy the forest views. The second bedroom has also has a queen bed and the third (non compliant) room has bunks.
The cabin utilizes vented gas wall heaters which provide cozy, warm temperatures throughout the house. Important note: as the bunk room is very small it does not have a wall heater. There is a space heater for this room.
